I offer a flexible approach to meet your needs, allowing you to choose anything from a brief initial consultation to a fully detailed design and construction guide that will enable you to achieve your garden's full potential.
Initial consultation:
The initial consultation held at your garden will be to discuss your requirements, to offer suggestions and agree the brief. Taking into account your ideas, favourite plants & colours, bearing in mind the condition and potential of the site. A fee of £30 is charged for all initial consultations. The fee is payable at the time of visit.
Written brief:
I will send you an outline of the agreed design work to be undertaken, including a fixed quotation. Once you are satisfied, return a signed copy of this to me and work can commence.
Detailed site survey:
Recording as appropriate the existing garden size, shape, levels, boundaries, aspect, soil and its condition, along with the existing plants and features.
Working sketches:
I will draw up working sketches that outline the proposed garden layout, so that you can easily and clearly understand my proposals.
Further discussion:
Prior to the final design and drawing work, I will discuss the overall proposal with you to ensure that I am meeting your needs, and give your approval for the masterplan to be completed.
Final masterplan:
Hand drawn to scale, with colour, labelling and illustration, including construction guide drawings required to build the garden.
Additional Servive:
I can also provide, detailed planting plans to suit you and your garden. We can consider colour all year round or little maintenance planting, but most of all plants chosen to suit your site and budget. Plant lists include botanical names of all suggested plants.
Details of fees for all services referred to, are available on request. The size and layout of the garden affect price.
Payment:
An initial payment of 33% of the design fee will be due on acceptance of the quotation. The balance will be come due on receipt of the completed master plan.
